Man In Texas Tests Positive for The Ebola Virus.

          

Yes you read correctly, Texas might be the next bus stop for an ebola outbreak.

CBS news:

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the first case of Ebola virus diagnosed in United States. The patient, still not identified, had recently flown here from Liberia to visit family, officials said. He was admitted on Monday to an isolation unit at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas to be tested for Ebola after he began exhibiting symptoms.

"This is the first case of Ebola diagnosed in the U.S., and the first case of this strain of Ebola diagnosed outside Africa," Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the CDC, said at a news conference Tuesday evening.

Everything You Need To Know About The Ebola Virus and Prevention.

 

        Ebola is the latest viral outbreak in West African countries Liberia, Sierre Leone and Guinea. It is highly contagions, the death toll is as high as 90% and there is no known treatment or cure for the virus. According to the World health Organization (WHO), the virus has claimed the lives of 672 people since its recent outbreak. Of everyone that is infected with this virus, they will go on to infect an average 2 and half more people. In allegiance with the fight against Ebola, I have put together a brief overview of symptoms and tips on how to prevent contacting it.

Who Knew D'Banj Was This Fine.

This post is long overdue but here it is. D'Banj released the video for the Half of A Yellow Sun movie soundtrack and I must say it shocked the "bajeebees" out of me. Maybe you have not noticed but this is the first time we are ever seeing his eyes. D'Banj is known for always wearing sun glasses.

The Cutest Baby In The World!

Today Annie Idibia shared her little princess with us! And girl (pun intended) she is a cutie!! Annie shared a cute moment of her playing with the little princess via a video on her Instagram page. I don't know why I am so obsessed but her baby has the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. Baby Olivia has really grown bigger and cuter from the last time we saw her. God bless your baby Annie and 2face!

LA Clippers Owner Recorded Telling His Girlfriend Not To Associate With Black People In Public.

                                         

 This has got to be the most outrageous thing I have heard this year!! It has been a huge story for the past few days. The Owner of Los Angeles Clippers basketball team Donald Sterling was apparently recorded on tape telling his girlfriend not associate with black people in public.  Issues like racism we all know still exists, but it is just shocking to see that a mam that owns a team where the majority of his players are black is a racist. Just sad!

  For a long time beauty has been a one-sided figure. One must look a certain way to be considered beautiful. We turn on the tv and the same girl is on it, we flip through magazines and then again we stare at the same girl. But why this same girl? When there are so many other different types of girls out here. Or are we not what society deems as "beautiful"?

I am not here to say anything but a goodbye to Africa's greatest leader. Nelson Mandela is a man that did not just change South Africa, but the whole world. He lived a long fulfilled life. RIP to a great hero and father to our continent... My prayer is that African leaders learn from his ways and keep his legacy alive.

Weekend Recap. + Outfit of The day.

   

  Good morning blog family and happy First Monday of the month! Woohoo it is finally December and I can not be more excited then now.  The Christmas lights are coming out the malls are having sales and the people are putting on smiles. It is all by God's grace that I am able to witness this time f the year yet again. May we all get to witness this time of the year times, and times, and times again!

Thursday:  So this weekend was a lovely one, and spent with the loveliest of people. First of all I went home to spend the thanksgiving with my family. Because my younger brother and my dad are inn Nigeria, thanksgiving was spent with my mom and older brother. Like I said in the older post we did a lot of cooking and had guests over for dinner.
