Nigerian Breakfast Tacos

I figured it's been quite a long time since I did a cooking post on my blog, so I decided to whip up a quick easy meal to show you. You know that one of my passions is making your kitchens as fun and colorful as possible by showing you some of my quick and guaranteed delicious recipes.

Today we're going to look at a breakfast regular in my house. It's a Nigerian twist on breakfast tacos. I call it a Nigerian twist because it's almost like making egg sauce, just with added sausage and tatashe. So ladies and gentlemen get your aprons on, your spatulas out, and let's get started!

This recipe is quick,n  easy and delicious.
Ingredients:
Tomatoes
Onions
Green bell pepper (tatashe)
Sausage
cheese (optional)
Tortilla
eggs
Maggi cube
red pepper
salt
ginger

Step 1: Dice up all your ingredients.
Cook your sausage and dice it up as well. I like to use a certain kind of sausage patties I always buy at Walmart, but if you can not find this type hot dogs will work just fine.

Step 2. Beat your eggs in a bowl.

Then pour all your ingredients for the filling into the egg and mix.

Step 4: Season your filling. At this point you add the seasoning according to how big the portion is. Add your maggi cube, red peppers to make it spicy, ginger and salt. Make sure you season that to be delicious!

Step 5: Heat up the tortillas on a pan or grill. Now for those of you like my loyal readers in Nigeria that do not have easy access to tortillas, try checking a big supermarket in your area. If you're in Abuja go to grand square. For other people, you can substitute by using pita bread. Or those of you that know how to, can make some Nigerian pancake or crepes and use that instead.
I like to use my black ghetto pan to heat the tortillas because it works perfect like a grill!

Step 6: Time to assemble! Once your tortillas are heated up its time to assemble your taco! First lay your tortilla on a flat plate, pour a little cheese,

then lay your filling on top.

Once that is done, roll up your tortilla neatly, and it's ready to eat! Enjoy!

I hope you will enjoy this particular recipe. Make your breakfast a little more interesting next time. Also check out my food section for more delicious recipes and restaurant reviews! Stay blessed!
