It might seem like I'm smiling here but i'm really not. Ladies do you sometimes feel like your parents emphasize a lot more responsibilities and tasks on you than your brothers? Oh how it pains my heart when I'm woken up from my beautiful slumber to go and fix breakfast, and as I am down there cooking I can hear my brothers snore from upstairs. I know I can't be the only one, someone in this place has to agree! Watch my video and join forces with me to begin a new culture of raising handymen.
Aw, I love Sweet Pea! That used to be my go-to scent for years.
ReplyDeleteNot only do parents need to start teaching their sons how to be "self-sufficient" but they need to emphasize that taking care of the home (once they're married) is not solely their wife's job. I can't tell you how many men i've met that are excellent cooks but swear up and down that they won't lift a finger in the kitchen once they get married because that's "woman's work".
Sweet pea is the bomb dot com. My dear one thing I've learnt hanging around African men is that if you find a man that cooks, keep him on lock! Lol
DeleteLolzzz we all know is african tradition that a girl shld wakeup in the morning sweep, cook, wash the dishes, and still serve everyone breakfast in d morning but the boys can sleep till 8/9am in d morning and d next question after greeting their parent is where is my food..
ReplyDeleteBut on my own side I say it all depend of your parent becoz we all knew what our house chores was in the morning so before going to school or work you must do it and if you don't do it will still be there waiting for till you come back and do it
