The best thing God did for me was to create me a woman. I'm a giver of life, a nurturer of dreams, the key to my husband's most inner heart, and the backbone of my growing family. A woman is strong and powerful. A woman means unending sacrifice. Like Mother Earth, we sit as a foundation for our men and our children to prosper. God bless all women across the world. Today is our day, and our reward is bigger than we can imagine. #womensday

The Fate of Richland County Deputy has Been Decided.
Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has fired a deputy who forcibly removed a student from a Spring Valley High School classroom, saying the officer used improper techniques in an attempt to restrain the girl.
Lott announced his decision on the fate of Deputy Ben Fields Wednesday afternoon following an internal investigation. Lott said the formal decision to terminate fields was made around 11:30 a.m.
"Deputy Ben Fields did wrong this past Monday," Lott said. "It's not what I expect from my deputies, or what I tolerate from my deputies."
That probe's purpose was only to determine if Fields followed proper protocol in dealing with the student; separate investigations, led by the FBI, the U.S. Attorneys office, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, will determine if there was criminal activity.
Lott said the decision was not hard to make, and was based on the evidence that was collected from witness interviews and at least three cell phone recordings of the incident.
Around 10:30 a.m. Monday, students were sitting inside a math class at Spring Valley and were working on their assignments. Lott says one girl in the class had her phone out instead of working on her project. The sheriff said the girl was told multiple times by her teacher to put the phone away, but she refused. According to the sheriff, an administrator then came to the classroom, and the girl refused his requests to comply.

Weekend Recap. Graduation parties! (more photos added)
It's another Monday, and just like every few weeks I have another update to give you. This weekend recap will not just cover the weekend, but the whole week. Last week was filled with so much activity. The month of May is graduation season here in the U.S., that means there is a party on every corner during this season, and a party on every corner there was. A lot of my friends graduated from the University, my elder brother Obi being one of them. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech university. All my mom's sisters and my dad's older sister came from their various locations down to Houston to celebrate with us. It was a full house! Lots and lots of noise, but with that noise came lots of joy. Those ladies never stop gisting and singing! They can go one and on for hours.

PDP Official Protests On Live Tv During Result Collation.
There seems to be drama going on in the Capital city Abuja. Today as Professor Jega was announcing the electoral results, a PDP official by the name of Godsday Orubebe stood up and challenged him on live TV with accusations of Professor Jega being partial. The official's accusations were based off of the incident that APC wrote a letter to the professor with allegations of rigging in Rivers state, and the professor sent a team over to investigate, but did not do the same when PDP brought up their own allegations. Mr. Godsday
then proceeded to sit on the stage and delay any further collation of results.
All I can say is; Ish just got real!

Let My Life Be Your Teacher.
I've been through a lot of life's struggles lately. It's like once I get out of what I think is the the most stressful situation ever, I land in another stressful situation that is even worse than the first one. These situations have even caused me to shy away from my first love, which is blogging. I recently thought to myself "why not blog about your struggles? Let people hear and go through them with you. After all that's what blogging is all about." So I have decided to bring those struggles to you. My plan is to make my life as open as possible and appropriate. All my life I have been a private person. I can say to you that not very many people in this world truly know me. Even my best friends will confess that they truly do not know what goes on inside my little head and in my private life. For those that have been with me from the start, my blog was inspired by a previous relationship. As a matter of fact, he was the composer of my very first post. And I promised to bring you all along as that relationship flourished. Well that relationship is dead and buried now...

Beyonce Announces That She Never Carried Blue Ivy?!!
Okay this is the craziest most shocking and hard to believe thing I have read this year, but pleeeease someone help me confirm this!!! I just read on TMZ that Beyonce;s publicist apparently released a statement claiming that Beyonce never carried Blue Ivy physically. WHAT!?
NEW YORK, NY -- Beyoncé is one of the biggest stars today, by far. But while "pregnant" with her and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy, even her biggest supporters were skeptical of her actually being pregnant.
But a lot of supporters stuck with her, even with her belly folding incident, more than a few still believed the "Drunk in Love" singer.
But one of her publicists, Marion Knight, issued a statement to the media on Beyoncé's behalf:.. (continue)

Has Google Shut Down Linda Ikeji's Blog?
http://www.edeebeau.com/
So this is what you see when you try to visit Linda Ikeji's blog.
Hmm... I know she has been having a lot of issues with google over copyright infringement. Apparently google has been on her, because of her tendency to copy content from other sites without full credit to the source. Wow this is insane! The number one blog in Africa could be gone!
